EXPERIENCE
For over 45 years, Eddie has provided highly competent individualized care integrating the principles and vast array of techniques of Physical Therapy with Yoga, Feldenkrais, Osteopathy and Pilates. He has refined and utilized manual therapy skills in the fields of neurologic and orthopedic rehabilitation, treating severe neurologic disorders (including: stroke, spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s disease and cerebral palsy), disabling spinal pain, respiratory conditions, developmental disabilities, athletic and musculoskeletal injuries. These conditions have ranged from mild sprains to severe life altering injuries or diseases.

PERSPECTIVE
My great enjoyment lies in doing an appropriate assessment, solving problems, teaching self-care and facilitating the innate healing capacities that each individual possesses. The skill is knowing how to use touch to facilitate these healing capacities.

EDUCATION
Eddie Rosen is a 1976 graduate of the Curriculum in Physical Therapy at the University of California, San Francisco. He maintains his skills with extensive post-graduate and continuing education.

INSTRUCTION

Eddie has served as a Clinical Instructor at the School of Physiotherapy in Melbourne, Australia and as a visiting lecturer in the Curriculum in Physical Therapy at U.C.S.F. Medical Center. He does ongoing teaching, mentoring and volunteer work overseas. He is available to consult with therapists and professionals from associated disciplines in a group setting or an individual basis.
